What type of endotoxin removal product does DEOVOS sell?



Previously, we mentioned that most commercially available products work through electrostatic adsorption, using materials with positively charged groups to combine with the negatively charged areas of LPS to remove endotoxins.

Are the products sold by the DEOVOS team the same?

The DEOVOS team chose modified nylon as the membrane material to create a product capable of removing endotoxins.

Due to the inherent properties of nylon, it naturally contains amine (–NH) and amide (–CONH) functional groups.

Therefore, it is easier to achieve a positively charged property through modification, and compared to other materials, modified nylon exhibits higher stability.

However, the membrane material's effectiveness in protein adsorption is also a crucial factor.

Protein adsorption strength: Nylon 66 > Polyamide > PVDF.
The appropriate membrane material should be selected based on experimental results and the required protein retention strength.
